Artists chosen by our esteemed juror, Frank Meo, will have the opportunity to showcase their work at the prestigious FotoNostrum space.

Over the years, FotoNostrum has proudly exhibited the creations of numerous artists who were recognized in previous editions of The Pollux and The Julia Margaret Cameron Awards. This very space has served as the stage for a variety of individual exhibitions, featuring both emerging talents and masters such as Steve McCurry, Helmut Newton, Gideon Lewin, Richard Avedon, Robert Doisneau, and currently, a retrospective of the Pirelli Calendar, featuring Peter Lindbergh, Annie Leibovitz, Sarah Moon, Paolo Roversi, Patrick Demarchelier, and many others. Through these exhibitions, FotoNostrum has cultivated a robust international presence and garnered significant recognition. Now, an opportunity awaits you to join this thriving community of artists and exhibit your work at FotoNostrum by submitting your entries to the Pollux Awards.

The Pollux Awards are open to both professional and amateur photographers. Two overall winners - one in the Professional category and one in the Non-Professional category - will be granted a fully-funded exhibition at the FotoNostrum Gallery in Barcelona, along with gallery representation and exposure on Artsy. Category winners and honorable mentions will be invited to exhibit alongside the overall winners in a group exhibition scheduled for December 2024. In this collective exhibition, the exhibition organization and venue costs will be covered by The Worldwide Photography Gala Awards. Simultaneously, exhibitors will be responsible for printing and framing expenses, as well as setup costs (hanging, labeling, and insurance), approximately amounting to $280 per piece. By participating in this award, artists acknowledge that they may be charged for printing in the event of participating in the exhibition, and to that end, they will need to submit high-resolution files of 300dpi suitable for fine art printing.

Represented artists will be featured for online sales on Artsy.
Jurors will choose category winners and honorable mentions across thematic categories.
