ExhibitionWe are thrilled to announce the Call for Entries for the prestigious 23rd Julia Margaret Cameron Award for Women Photographers and the 21st edition of the Pollux Awards.
This is a unique opportunity for you to showcase your vision and talent in the most celebrated photography events of the year. Selected works will have the honor of being exhibited at FotoNostrum, the renowned Mediterranean House of Photography, in July 2025, subject to and compliant with the rules of the competition.
Whether you are a seasoned professional or an emerging talent, these awards offer a platform to present your best shots to the world. The awarded works will not only be exhibited in the exquisite gallery space of FotoNostrum in Barcelona but will also gain visibility through our online channels on Artsy and Artendipity. This is your chance to have your work appreciated by an international audience and to be part of a vibrant community of artists.
Since 2009, the Julia Margaret Cameron Award has been instrumental in bringing the work of over 2,400 women photographers to the forefront, with exhibitions in Buenos Aires, Malaga, Madrid, Berlin, and Barcelona, where FotoNostrum has now established a permanent venue.
Continuing with the special ‘Book Award’ initiated with the 20th edition of the Julia Margaret Cameron award, in addition to the usual prize of a fully-paid solo exhibition for the four overall winners, one of them will be selected to publish a book of their work in an initial edition of 100 copies. This book will be curated, designed, and funded by FotoNostrum Publishing.
